My wife and I went to a show in Norfolk (A beautiful noise - very good) and had dinner at Hell’s Kitchen beforehand. This was our second visit but the first intentional visit. Great service, good food, and happy hour pricing on drinks ($3 for a whiskey) and fantastic and friendly service (Sarah). We will definitely be back.
Definitely a great first time experience for us! We came here thinking it was affiliated with the "other" HK, but we're absolutely thrilled to learn otherwise. The scene is loud yet manageable; we had great conversation without having to repeat, and had a ball reading the memes on the screens. The service was fast and efficient and the drinks were delicious and strong! I will definitely return to downtown Norfolk for this gem!
The food was wonderful. I got the jumbo crab cakes and they were moist and flavorful; just fell apart on the plate and melted in my mouth. The asparagus was crisp and so well seasoned, and the potato chips I got instead of fries were absolutely delightful. I will be back again next time I'm in Portsmouth.
My family was in town for Taekwondo at the Hilton, and My daughter and I were walking to get my son some food( we wanted a sub) however as we walked past it looked at their menu and went in. Staff was very nice, dauger had wings, I had the chicken Ceasars wrap. Food was great. Highly recommend 👌
What's not to love?? Annnd it's open late! Mac n cheese? Bomb! Mozzarella sticks? Best ever. Brussel sprouts? I don't even like them and they were amazing. Steak was slightly salty but good otherwise. Wings? On point. Seafood nachos? Very good. Egg rolls? Tasted kind of like a taco and who doesn't love tacos. Steak bites? Well seasoned and the mashed potatoes were good as well. Beer was great and service was even better. Due to food quality, price and service this may very well be one of my new go to spots.
Just an all around great & fun place we frequent. Teriyaki steak bites are incredible!. We typically go for their chicken wings. A well deserving shout out to the staff, they are amazing! It’s a nice feeling walking into their establishment and being recognized/acknowledged as a patron because it makes us feel genuinely welcome and appreciated! Definitely at the top of our list for dining out!!
Me and my friend dined here due to their late hours, and truly really enjoyed ourselves. I liked my drinks, and I also love the food. Our waitress was a redheaded lady, and she was so kind and so lovely. The only downside was, I did not like the Seafood nachos I feel they should be more moisten and put together, But man, the steak dinner made up for everything. And my friend loved her meal.They took off the nasty meal, So I’m definitely gonna give this place five stars. It was so delicious. I have to come back when I visit Norfolk.
I went in with an open mind and my expectations were pleasantly met, the food was hot and had a good flavor. My party stuck to apps since me and friends were going for a drink or 2 and just to socialise. The mozzarella sticks were quite good, the wings were seasoned and had good notes of the garlic parm and lemon pepper. The buffaloe bread dip was also worth ordering. I was honestly pleasantly surprised we had someone that has celiac with us as well and we're able to find a gluten free option the steak bites without the sauce.
I was in Norfolk for work and was recommended Hells Kitchen for dinner. The food was delicious and portions were great. My server was wonderful. It was kinda loud in there so I did not hear what her name was, but she was wearing a green light up headband (it was St. Patrick's Day).
10/10 would dine here again. Great deals, service, and food. We went on the date night steak night so we got two plates for $22. Our waitress Sara was a gem of a human. Kind greeting and quick service. This isn’t Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay but it is still worthy of all the glory. Sports bar and grill type atmosphere. Interesting “hell” decor, but still a nice intimate spot for date night. I recommend it as we enjoyed ourselves and had a cheap night out.
